Our newest edition of the annual ANOPA swimming clinic has taken off successfully. Participants include physical education teachers,life guards, local volunteers from ANOPA and members of the ANOPAPHINS competition team. It's exciting to see our swim team members Philipp, Joan and Kojo Acquah becoming coaches themselves. This is how we at ANOPA try to impact the next generation and those who follow. Facilitators for the clinic are Andreas and Alice from the German Swimming Association (North-Rhine Westphalia). The second day of our swimming clinic was exciting as well. Participants were taken through the characteristics of water and practical exercises in the pool. The future coaches studied how buoyancy of water really works. They also learned about hand and leg movement in free style,butterfly and backstroke.
