Community clean-up action

Last saturday at 7.00 am the Pedu Estate community met at ANOPA Project house to start a clean-up exercise. Parents and children of our neighborhood were involved. Zoomlion Ghana limited provided us with cleaning equipment such as rubber gloves, shovels, brooms etc. Together we picked up plastics and rubbish from the road, swept the surroundings and cleaned the gutters by removing sand, weed and debris. Emptying the gutters is important to make the water flow again especially due to the rainy season. This was a successful start and we will continue our clean-up exercise on the following weekends.
