After four nominations in one single year, ANOPA Project emerged as the BEST CHARITY ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR, 2022 at the just ended Africa Cooperate CEOs and Honors Award,2022 held at the La Palm Royal Beach in Accra on the 27th of August, 2022.
ANOPA Project also received citation from the Humanitarian Awards Global,2022 after being nominated in the category BEST PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ADVOCATE,2022 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra. In the EDUCOMS Award,2022 ANOPA again received a nomination as BEST EDUCATIONAL NGO.
ANOPA Project has over the years used sport to help promote inclusion and integration among differently-abled children especially the deaf, the blind and other children with other forms of disability. Through this intervention the Project has supported many children to obtain quality education through scholarships, provided technical assistance to many deaf and blind school dropouts to learn technical skills in order to help sustain their livelihoods and also many others acquiring basic skills in swimming, basketball, volley among others helping them in building confidence and building inclusive societies. ANOPA Project is very thankful to RYTHM Foundation for providing funding in the form of grants for its activities over the past three years. ANOPA is hopeful that the partnership with RYTHM Foundation would further deepen and would go a long way to support other differently-abled children in Ghana. ANOPA is also very grateful with its other partners over the years including Sport4development,Germany, the French Embassy, Memphis Foundation and the Globalgiving.
