ANOPA Project attends the 8th stakeholder meeting of the HODVIC Programme in Accra, organised by the Visio International in Accra at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel. The meeting was attended by Ms. Elsina Annang, the Project Coordinator and Ms. Keziah Abrafi Marboah, the Programmes and Communications Officer of the ANOPA Project who made a presentation on behalf of the Project highlighting the various activities it had undertaken towards improving the conditions of visually impaired persons particularly children in the Central Region.
In attendance were the Country Director of Visio, Mr. Jeremiah Badu Shayer, Mr. Jan Til, International Programme Manager of Vision International from the Netherlands. Directors and heads from the Presbyterian Health Service, Special Education Division of the Ministry of Education, SpED-Ghana Education Service, Department of Children, National Eye Centre Unit, Ghana Blind Union, University of Education, Winneba, Schools and selected visually impaired pupils among others were also present.
